MANILA, Philippines – Five World War 2 era bombs were found by the Explosive Ordnance Division of the Parañaque police in a construction site on Wednesday.

The bombs, which were dug near the Nichols Air Base, are ammunition for 105mm howitzers used by the Americans during World War 2.

Based on records from the Parañaque police, this is the fourth incident of such bombs being discovered in the city.

Bomb experts reminded the public to alert authorities in the event of finding explosive devices to prevent any untoward incident. -- Report from Alex Santos, ABS-CBN News
