MANILA, Philippines – A elderly man from Binangonan, Rizal killed his wife by pummeling her with a dumbbell.

Doraldito Padlan used a dumbbell to beat up his wife of about 40 years Erlinda, inside their house in Binangonan before dawn Monday.

Erlinda's skull was crushed after being beaten by her husband.

Doraldito was arrested and detained by the police.

He said he did not mean to kill his wife, claiming that he was not in his right mind after a “white lady” told him to carry out the crime.

Doraldito, who was recently paralyzed after an illness, said it took him over an hour to realize his gruesome act.
