MANILA, Philippines – A newborn baby boy was found dead in a trash can at a basketball court in Barangay Matandang Balara, Quezon City Friday.

According to Rolly Abon, he saw the baby inside a box wrapped in a black shirt.

A piece of red underwear was also stuffed inside the baby’s mouth.

A concerned citizen removed the underwear from the baby’s mouth and lit a candle before investigators arrived at the scene.
