14 'Maguindanao massacre' cops flown to QC

MANILA, Philippines  - Fourteen policemen accused of perpetrating the brutal massacre of 57 people in Ampatuan, Maguindanao last November 23 have been brought to Quezon City to stand trial, officials said.

Authorities said the police officer, including 4 police officials, took a Philippine Airlines flight from Cotabato City to Manila at 2:35 p.m.

Upon their arrival, the 14 will be brought to the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame where they will be detained.

The 14 are among 45 police officers placed under restrictive custody by the Police Regional Office-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao in connection with the November 23 massacre.

wala tayong maayos na Hustisya sa PILIPINAS... si Lacson isa sa pinaka well known PNP official pero ano??? Pinaka bad example naman. Wala na tayong maaasahang leader ng bansa. Puro kurakot at mamamatay tao! Sana man lang kung sino ang susunod kay Arroyo tanggalin sa pwesto ang mga di karapat-dapat na pulis gaya ng mga sangkot sa massacre ya yan!
