Man found dead in San Juan

MANILA, Philippines – Rescuers found the bloodied body of a man in San Juan City early Saturday morning.
The body of Wilfredo Espanol was discovered around 3 a.m. in front of an apartelle in Grey Street, Barangay Ermitaño.
Faye Alvendia discovered the body while she and her friends were on their way home.
“Akala namin pulubi lang. Pagtingin po uli namin may dugo-dugo po siya tapos dumeretcho na kami sa barangay tapos pinuntahan siya ng barangay at dumating 'yung rescue,” Alvendia said.
Espanol’s son Christopher said he last saw his father around 8 p.m. Friday when he handed his wages and then left again for work in New Manila.
The victim lived with Christopher as he was separated from his wife and their 4 other children.
Christopher said his father was kind and had no enemies.
Police are still determining the cause of death of the victim as no bullet or stab wounds were found on his body.
“Kung sinagasaan po siya, magpakita na lang po. Maawa na lang po sila sa amin," Christopher appealed. -- Report from Bettina Magsaysay, ABS-CBN News
