MANILA (2nd UPDATE) – Fire hit the back of the Manila Film Center in Pasay City on Tuesday.
Authorities said the fire started at the administration office in the building’s second floor at around 7 p.m.
The fire immediately spread and reached 5th alarm at 7:22 p.m.
Fire out was declared past 9 p.m.
Around P200,000 in properties were lost in the fire. No casualties were reported.
The building was built in 1981 and met controversy after one of its floors allegedly collapsed during construction, killing several workers. -- Report from Carolyn Bonquin, ABS-CBN News
