Erap vs Lim for Manila 'a good fight', says Isko
MANILA, Philippines – Manila Vice- Mayor Isko Moreno believes former President Joseph "Erap" Estrada will be a formidable opponent against Manila Mayor Alfredo Lim if Estrada challenges Lim in the 2013 elections.
Estrada earlier confirmed that he is thinking of running for Manila mayor in 2013. His electoral bid would pit him against Lim, who is running for re-election that year.
Asked if he is scared of Estrada's possible electoral bid, Moreno said he has utmost respect for Estrada's experience as a former president and his second place finish in the 2010 presidential election.
“Syempre, alam niyo naman, naging pangulo ‘yan, ‘di po pwedeng joke na especially he was vindicated, the way I look at it, by our citizens, our countrymen, by having 11 million votes [in the presidential elections], sumegunda. It’s a form of vindication to President Erap so I respect those votes,” Moreno said in an interview on dzMM Wednesday.
He also acknowledged Estrada’s extensive experience in the field of public service.
“Si dating Presidente Erap ay marami naring karanasan, ‘di siya pahuhuli sa karanasan namin. Kumbaga bilang mayor ng San Juan (Estrada), at bilang vice mayor (Moreno) at mayor si Mayor Lim.”
“So it’s a good fight if ever, kung matutuloy. Kami lang ni Mayor Lim, ako kakayod lang, si Mayor Lim kakayod din,” Moreno said.
Moreno earlier denied that he is joining Estrada as the latter's running mate in the 2013 local elections.

Erap is a CONVICTED PLUNDERER!!!..punishable by death by Philippine law.
Unfortunately, he was pardoned by GMA.
This agreement is historically known as "DEAL AMONG THIEVES".

Next time I advise you NOT to tickle Erap's ears, he doesn't need it.

What if Erap was not convicted and won the case?
Do you think nobody will question the legality of GMA as a sitting president?
If you were given a trial in which the decision will affect the position of GMA's administation,
or the gov't you also called a thief - will they give you a fair trial?
I guess Erap's conviction under GMA's was a done deal with other legislative thieves (sandiganbayan, SC, etc)
So I guess in my opinion, patronizing the plunder conviction by thieves is a no-no.
