MANILA -- A fire broke out in a residential area in Leveriza Street, corner President Quirino Avenue in Manila past 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
The fire has reached fifth alarm, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
Rescuers are having a hard time putting out the fire due to narrow streets and personal items scattered on the street.
Residents said smoke from the fire has already reached Roxas Boulevard, which is a few kilometers away. -- report from Ricky Velasco, DZMM
