MANILA - Metro Manila experienced its hottest day so far in 2013, as temperature in the metropolis rose to 34.6 degrees Celsius at 3 p.m. today, the state weather bureau said.
PAGASA predicted temperatures of around 34 degrees Celsius again in Metro Manila Thursday, as summer heat grips the country.
The bureau, meanwhile, said a low-pressure area will bring rains and some relief to Mindanao starting Wednesday night.
In its 24-hour forecast, PAGASA said Eastern Visayas and Mindanao will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have generally good weather except for isolated thunderstorms mostly in the
afternoon.
