Village official shot dead in QC
MANILA - An official of a homeowners association in Barangay Batasan Hills was gunned down on Saturday morning in Quezon City.
Dix Tibi, 56-years old, was killed on the spot. He was shot twice in the face.
He was the chairman of the board of the Dakila Homeowners Association in Barangay Batasan Hills.

The incident happened at 6 a.m. along San Mateo Road of the same barangay.
Tibi's colleague, who declined to be identified, said the incident happened just as they were preparing for the election of a new set of officers on Sunday, where the victim was a candidate for the same post.
Scene of the crime operatives said the gunman used a .45 calibre gun to kill the victim.
Authorities are still investigating the incident to identify the suspect and motive behind the killing. Report from Johnson Manabat, DZMM
