LRT operation disrupted anew
MANILA, Philippines – Operation of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Line 1 was momentarily disrupted on Friday.
LRTA spokesperson Atty. Hernando Cabrera said an air leak caused the disruption of a train headed to Baclaran.
Passengers were stranded between the Quirino and Pedro Gil station in Manila for a few minutes before normal train operation was restored.
LRT line 1 is the oldest operating line in the metropolis. It runs from Baclaran to Caloocan to Quezon City. -- Report from Arnell Ozaeta, dzMM
