MANILA, Philippines -- Incumbent Mayor Enrico “Recom” Echiverri is leading over his political rivals in Caloocan City as of 2:21 a.m. Tuesday.

Out of the 91% of votes canvassed in Caloocan, Liberal Party’s Echiverri received 230,788 votes while his opponents Luis “Baby” Asistio and Roberto Cordero garnered 136,959 and 3,524, respectively.

Echiverri’s running mate Edgar Erice is also leading over contenders Macario “Boy” Asistio and Rey Malonzo.

Erice got 173,580 votes. Asistio received 65,735 while Malonzo got 96,577.

Meanwhile, the votes tallied in Caloocan for president and vice president were as follows:
