MANILA, Philippines – The body of a dead man was found floating in the Pasig River by the Philippine Coast Guard Thursday night.
Authorities said the body of the man, believed to be 33 to 38 years old, was found floating in the vicinity of Barangay Vergara in Mandaluyong City.
Mandaluyong police described the still unidentified man as medium-built and wearing denim shorts.
Initial investigations showed that the man had 6 identification cards bearing the name Salvador Paras Narvasa, a resident of San Fabian, Pangasinan.
However, police have yet to confirm if the man is indeed Narvasa.
They suspect that the victim drowned because the body had no wounds or bruises.
The body was brought to Pacific Funeral Homes in Mandaluyong.
