Authorities found two suspected victims of summary execution in Santa Cruz, Manila early Friday.
Police found the first victim around 4 a.m. in a dark alley in Escolta. Police said it was the first time that a body was dumped in that area since most victims of summary executions were usually found in Pasig River.
A security guard said he saw an unmarked van in the alley before the body was found.
Another body was also found in Recto Avenue before dawn.
Police said both victims's bodies bore similar tattoos. Both victims were bound with packaging tape and both were strangled using rope.
Authorities have yet to identify the two victims.
