Tondo precinct chief relieved over dirty police station
MANILA - The chief of the Don Bosco Police Community Precinct (PCP) in Tondo, Manila was relieved of his post after a surprise inspection by Manila Police District (MPD) Director Chief Supt. Rolando Asuncion on Friday.
Asuncion sacked Sr. Insp. Manny Israel after he saw the precinct messy and dirty.
Aside from Israel, 13 of his personnel were also relieved of their duties after Asuncion saw them sporting unshaven beard.
Israel and his personnel were assigned to the MPD's Public Safety Battalion.
Chief Insp. Ariel Caramoan was appointed as the new Don Bosco PCP commander. -- Report from Noel Alamar, dzMM
