For the past five years, Atty. Paulino Tanierla So has been representing clients in various legal battles, some of which have even reached the Supreme Court. Aside from taking on cases, So also provides legal and notarial services.

The problem is - So does not have a law degree, according to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. 

Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation said they arrested So in an entrapment operation in Dasmariñas, Cavite Wednesday.

Authorities said an undercover agent approached So for help in having his marriage annulled. So asked for P200,000 as acceptance fee and was arrested after accepting the payment.

Police said estafa and usurpation of authority charges will be filed against So, based on the IBP's complaint.
