MANILA - The water level in Angat Dam continues to drop despite the rains being experienced in some parts of the country over the past few weeks.

Rodolfo German, operations manager of the Angat Dam Hydroelectric Power Plant, told radio dzMM.

As of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, the dam's water level fell to 168.66 meters above sea level.

This is below the critical level of 180 meters.

According to German, the rains being experienced by the country right now are not enough to increase the water level in the dam.

Nonetheless, he assured that allocation to water distributors remains normal.
