MANILA, Philippines - Robbers held the wife and 3 children of a Parañaque City councilor at gunpoint during a heist on Thursday night.

A radio dzMM report said 3 young gunmen forcibly entered the home of City Councilor Eric Baes in Barangay Tambo.

The gunmen took a laptop, cellular phones and an undetermined amount of cash from the councilor's home.

The report said that as of Thursday morning, the wife and 3 children of Councilor Baes were still in shock because of the heist.

Police said the suspects held the victims at gunpoint while collecting valuables and cash inside the councilor's home.
