MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Education (DepEd)  in the National Capital Region on Tuesday evening suspended classes in the preschool, elementary, and high school levels in Metro Manila on Wednesday.

Flordeliza Magday, Regional Director of the Department of Education (DepEd) NCR, announced that classes in preschool, elementary and high school in Metro Manila for both public and private schools will be suspended Wednesday due to tropical storm Basyang.
