Commercial pilot nabbed for shabu
MANILA, Philippines – A commercial pilot has been arrested by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in a buy-bust operation in Taguig City.
The 40-year-old pilot Rioklyn Toledo was allegedly caught selling two plastic sachets of shabu to an undercover PDEA agent along Rizal St. corner 29th St. in Taguig, said PDEA director general Undersecretary Jose Gutierrez, Jr.
Authorities said a .45 caliber pistol was recovered from the suspect.
Toledo is now detained at the PDEA jail facility in Quezon City and is facing charges for violating Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165.
According to PDEA, Toledo reportedly supplies drugs to other pilots and some foreign tourists.
