Select schools suspend classes on Monday

MANILA, Philippines - Nineteen schools in Quezon City will have no classes on Monday, the day of the first State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Aquino.

The schools are:

ELEMENTARY

  • Batasan Hills Elementary School
  • Payatas A, B & C Elementary School
  • Payatas B Annex Elementary School
  • San Diego Elementary School
  • Bagong Silangang Elementary School
  • Dona Juana Elementary School
  • Commonwealth Elementary School
  • Commonwealth Annex
  • Manuel L. Quezon Elementary School
  • Culiat Elementary School
  • New Era Elementary School

SECONDARY

  • Bagong Silangan High School
  • Batasan Hills National HS
  • Commonwealth High School
  • New Era High School
  • Justice Cecila Munoz Palma HS
  • Holy Spirit High School
  • Culiat High School
  • JF Belmonte HS

Meanwhile, the Makati City government said Friday that the number coding scheme will still be in effect in the city on Monday, despite the suspension of the scheme by the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), also in time for the SONA.
