MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency on Friday gave P5 million in reward money to 6 individuals who helped authorities conduct big-time drug busts.

PDEA said the 6 informants of Operation: Private Eye helped in tipping off authorities about the presence of shabu laboratories and drug lords in their communities.

The antidrug agency also praised private individuals, nongovernment organizations and the media, particularly ABS-CBN Pampanga correspondent Gracie Rutao, for helping in the government campaign against illegal drugs.
