MANILA, Philippines – An estimated 600 families in Pasig City have been evacuated after nonstop rains triggered flashfloods in the area.

The affected families are temporarily staying in nearby covered courts, barangay halls, and schools that serve as makeshift evacuation centers.

Authorities said at least 10 barangays remain submerged in floods, particularly the barangays located near the Pasig River.
