Barbershop fight: Barber kills colleague over customer
MANILA, Philippines – A fight between two barbers over
a long-time customer ended with one of the barbers being stabbed over 20 times with a pair of scissors.
The victim, Oscar Abesamis, 31, sustained 22 stab wounds in different parts of his body. He was rushed to the Quirino Memorial Medical Center but died before reaching the hospital.
Police arrested suspect Oliver Olandria, a resident of Taguig, and also recovered the scissors he used.
According to investigators, an argument sparked between the two barbers when a long-time customer or "suki" of Olandria had his hair cut by Abesamis. At the height of their word war, Olandria took a pair of scissors and stabbed Abesamis multiple times.
The two barbers were employed at Kencyr Barber Shop in the Farmer’s Plaza mall in Cubao, Quezon City. – From DZMM
