Fire hits warehouse in Baclaran
MANILA, Philippines – A fire struck a four-story warehouse in Baclaran, Pasay City Tuesday afternoon amid the monsoon rains brought by tropical storm Maring.
According to dzMM’s Dennis Datu, the fire that hit near the commercial area in Pasay started at 1 p.m. and has already reached Task Force Bravo.
Fire Marshal Douglas Diaz of Pasay City Fire Department said the blaze may have started at the ground floor.
It quickly spread to the rest of the warehouse which contained plastic wares, footwear and clothing.
The local government of Pasay City is already requesting special rescue units with breathing apparatus to put out the fire.
