Pasay warehouse still on fire after 20 hours
MANILA – The fire that hit a 4-storey warehouse in Pasay City continues to rage about 20 hours after it erupted on Tuesday.
The fire, which hit a warehouse along Russel Street in Baclaran area at 1 p.m. yesterday, was still at Task Force Bravo alarm as of 9 a.m.
No one was reported injured in the incident, but authorities pegged the damages from the fire at P2.5 million.
Nearby establishments were forced to close down as the burning building continues to emit thick smoke.
Firefighters are having a hard time putting out the fire, as some of the contents of the warehouse include rubber and plastic items. – report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
