Bomb threat hits UA&P

MANILA, Philippines - Students and faculty were evacuated from the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) campus in Pasig City on Monday afternoon due to a bomb threat.
According to Pasig Police, the bomb threat was received by the school at around 2:28 p.m.
A bomb squad was immediately deployed and scoured the campus.
Initial reports said the squad recovered a grenade inside one of the bathrooms of UA&P.
However, more recent reports reaching ABS-CBN News do not identify what was recovered from the site.
No explosion took place in the campus, and there were no casualties, police said.
The UA&P is one of the most expensive universities in the country. -- Report from ANC
