Marikina River returns to normal level
MANILA, Philippines – The Marikina River returned to its normal level past midnight today.
On its Twitter account, Marikina's Public Information Office (PIO) said the water level has gone down to 14.8-meters as of 12:35 am, and Alert Level 1 had been terminated.
The river’s water level head reached 15.5-meters on Saturday night, equal to Alert Level 1, after more rains poured.
But the water level started receding later in the evening. -- Report from ANC
