P1M reward for info on film critic's killings
MANILA, Philippines – Friends and relatives of slain film critic Alexis Tioseco have offered a cash reward of P1 million for information that could lead to the arrest of the killers.
Tioseco and his Slovenian partner Nika Bohinc were shot and killed by 3 suspects in their home at 39 Times Street, Barangay West Triangle, Quezon City on Sept. 1, 2009.
Authorities believe the couple’s househelper, Criselda Gesman Dayag, may have a hand in the murders.
A close friend of Tioseco, Rock Ed Philippines founder Gang Badoy, said investigations by police are still focused on Dayag.
A warrant has already been issued for Dayag’s arrest but she is still at large.
Friends and relatives of Tioseco are calling on the public to contact them (+639477211901, +639053758861 and 02-5263747) regarding any information on the case.
Tioseco was a film professor and founder of online publication Critcine. -- Report from Maan Macapagal, ABS-CBN News
