Japanese man shot dead in Antipolo
MANILA - Motorcycle-riding gunmen on Monday shot dead a 66-year-old Japanese man who was waiting for a ride in Antipolo City, east of Manila, police said.
Police said Kazuaki Tsuya was standing under a footbridge in front of a mall when he was shot in the head around 2 p.m. Monday.
He sustained a wound in the face, police said, adding the man was rushed to a hospital, where he died.
Quoting a witness, a police investigator said the assailant, one of the two on motorcycle, fired at least two shots at the victim with a handgun.
Police are now looking for a motive for the attack.
