MANILA, Philippines - Another bomb threat disrupted operations at the Manila City Hall on Wednesday morning.

Police said an unidentified caller warned a city hall employee that a bomb will exploded on the 4th floor.

Nora Paglinawan, employee of the city hall's prosecutor's office, said she received the call around 8 a.m.

Responding policemen immediately ordered all employees to vacate the city hall before conducting a search.

The bomb threat turned out to be a hoax after the police searched the city hall for an hour.

The bomb scare momentarily disrupted transactions at the city hall and hearings at the regional trial court located at the 4th floor.

The Manila City Hall received a similar prank call April last year.

An unidentified woman called up the city hall and warned an employee that she overheard a group of men talking about planting a bomb in the building. -- Report from Anthony Taberna, ABS-CBN News
