Police still clueless on ad agency manager's killing
CAVITE - The Cavite Police Provincial Office remains clueless on the death of a 25-year-old female advertising agency manager whose body was found in Silang, Cavite on Saturday morning.
Senior Superintendent Alexander Rafael, Cavite police director, said his investigators are still following leads on the case.
“Pinuntahan ng mga tauhan ko ang opisina ng biktima pero sarado sila kahapon (Sunday), hindi pa rin namin nakukuha ang result ng autopsy,” Rafael said.
The body of 25-year-old Kristelle Davantes was found at the Tibagan Bridge in Barangay Sabutan, Silang, Cavite at around 6 a.m. on Saturday.
Her mouth was covered with a handkerchief, while her hands were hogtied with a seatbelt. She had several wounds on her neck.
Near her body were a knife and a wire believed to have been used to kill her.
Davantes’ Toyota Altis (PIM-966) is still missing as of this writing, investigators said.
Based on adobomagazine.com, Davantes started with McCann Worldgroup Philippines’ MRM in September 2011. She earned her master's degree in Marketing Communications from De La Salle University, and a Business Administration degree from Southville Foreign University.
The website also quoted Budjette Tan, executive director of MRM, as saying that Davantes and colleagues had some drinks at the Bonifacio Global City on Friday night. They parted ways at around 1:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Tan said Davantes was passionate and hard-working.
"Despite all the OT we do and all the weekly workload that leave us with little personal time, she was still excited to work on a new project and win a new account," he said.
