Robber wounded in foiled heist in ParaÃ±aque
MANILA – A suspected robber sustained a gunshot wound in a foiled heist in Felicidad St., Parañaque City on Friday.
An employee of the Fernan Company International, a firm selling Christmas decors, said she was about to enter the warehouse when about 6 armed men pointed their guns at her and the driver.
The company’s security guard was able to respond immediately and fired at the suspects, hitting one of them in the stomach.
The other suspects escaped using motorcycles, and the wounded suspect and a companion commandeered a taxi to escape.
The 2 were later arrested along the Airport Road after catching the attention of airport police.
The other suspects were able to take a bag and 2 cellphones from the employees. No cash was stolen. -- Report from Zhander Cayabyab, dzMM
