Kae Davantes' family asks suspect to surrender
MANILA - The family of slain advertising manager Kristelle "Kae" Davantes is calling on those behind the brutal murder to surrender.
"Sana makonsensya kayo. May pamilya din naman kayo. May mga mahal din naman kayo sa buhay eh. Sana di rin kayo makatulog. Lumabas na kayo," said Vincent Davantes, uncle of the victim, in an interview with radio dzMM on Saturday.
The 25-year-old Davantes, a senior account manager of advertising agency McCann Worldgroup Philippines Inc., was found dead in Barangay Sabutan, Silang, Cavite last Saturday.
She was strangled and stabbed to death.
She was last seen in Fort Bonifacio Friday last week driving her silver Toyota Altis with plate number PIM-961, which remains missing until now.
Police are still clueless on the motive behind the killing of Davantes.
Police said locating the victim's car will help them find leads on the case.
Davantes will be laid to rest on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Vincent expressed gratitude to all those who have supported his family.
He also thanked netizens, who continue to call for justice for his niece.
