P200,000 reward offered in Kae Davantes case
MANILA – A P200,000 reward money has been offered by the National Capital Region Police Office for any information that may lead to the arrests of suspects in the killing of 25-year-old advertising executive Kae Davantes.
Supt. Christopher Laxa, chief of Task Group Kae, said the reward money was raised through the help of concerned citizens.
Davantes’ uncle, Vincent, thanked the public particularly anonymous individuals who have been supporting their calls for justice.
“Isang malalaking pasasalamat sa mga hindi namin kakilala na tumutulong para masolba ang kaso. Ang halagang ino-offer ay malaking bagay,” he told dzMM on Saturday.
Police have yet to determine the motive behind the incident.
Laxa said they have interrogated several individuals who were in the area where Davantes’ body was found Saturday.
Davantes was last seen leaving Bonifacio Global City late Friday after a night out with friends. Her body was found in Cavite on Saturday with stab wounds and traces of strangulation.
Her car, a Toyota Altis, remains missing.
