Police seized at least 10 kilograms of marijuana from two suspected pushers at a public market in Novaliches on Tuesday night.

Police Officer 3 Ardee Manlongat of the Quezon City Police District identified the suspects as Inocencio Hunggayo and Diocel Rino.

Manlongat said the two were caught selling marijuana blocks at the Novaliches public market. The marijuana shipment came from Benguet province, he added.

In a recent study made by Dangerous Drugs Board, marijuana remains a favorite among teenagers, particularly highschool students.

It said that of the more than 12,000 students randomly checked for drugs, 30 had positive results and 28 of them were hooked on marijuana.
