2 'salvage' victims found in QC
MANILA, Philippines – Two bodies believed to be victims of summary executions were discovered in two separate areas in Quezon City on Saturday morning.
The victims remain unidentified, police said.
The first body was discovered past 2 a.m. along Samonte Street in Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon.
The victim, believed to be around 30 to 35 years old, had two gunshot wounds. He was blindfolded and his hands were also hogtied.
Three empty shells of an M16 rifle were also recovered in the area.
Meanwhile, the second body was found past 3 a.m. along Barangay Kaunlaran.
The victim, around 40 to 45 years old, was discovered with a head wound. However, authorities are still determining if it was from a gunshot or stab wound. Report from Dennis Datu, dzMM
