Two schools in Metro Manila have suspended classes as tropical storm “Ondoy” was expected to cross Central Luzon on Saturday.

Dante Guevarra, president of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, announced that all campuses of the state university in Metro Manila and nearby provinces have been suspended due to the bad weather.

Grade school and high school classes at the La Consolacion College campus in Pasig City have also been suspended.

La Consolacion president, Sister Editha Zerna, clarified in her initial advisory that classes in the tertiary level are not included in the suspension.
