'Pedring' affects 34 domestic flights
MANILA, Philippines - A total of 34 domestic flights were grounded Monday morning due to inclement weather brought by typhoon "Pedring."
A flight advisory from the Manila International Airport Administration said 34 domestic flights were cancelled as of 11 a.m. due to inclement weather.
The cancelled flights include 2 from Philippine Airlines, 6 from Zest Air, 18 from Cebu Pacific and 8 from Air Philippines.
Classes at the elementary and high school levels in the National Capital Region were suspended as of 12 noon due to heavy rains brought by the typhoon.
