DSWD: ‘Ondoy’ victims also need beddings, towels
Aside from food, water, and clothing, Social Welfare and Development Secretary Esperanza I. Cabral said the victims of tropical storm Ondoy also need beddings, towels, towels, and items for personal hygiene.
DSWD field offices have activated their Quick Response and Social Welfare and Disaster teams to provide technical assistance and resource augmentation to the disaster-affected local government units.
Cabral said donation may be sent to Petron gas stations nationwide. Petron is the designated drop-off points for donations or to any of the DSWD’s field offices or to the DSWD Central Office.

As of 27 September, 200 evacuation centers have been set-up serving over 20,000 families or over 100,000 individuals.
