Fire razed the second floor of a Philippine Science High School's building in Quezon City, before dawn Tuesday.

Arson investigators said the fire at the school's Humanities Building broke out around 1:30 a.m.

The fire started from the faculty center's roof and quickly spread to the registrar's office and other nearby rooms.

School officials said the fire destroyed important documents, including some faculty members' examination papers.

The school's officials said classes for Tuesday have been suspended because of the incident.
