MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED) – A man was found dead inside the parking lot of Robinsons Metro East in Pasig City Wednesday morning, in what police consider to be an apparent suicide.

The man, identified as John Robert Aragon, was found at the mall's lower ground parking area.

PO3 Rustom Valdez, the investigator handling the case, said John Robert slashed his wrist before jumping off the parking building's 5th floor.

John Robert also had stab wounds on the chest. His right arm was also broken due to the fall.

Rodrigo, John Robert's father, disclosed that his family had been having some misunderstandings.

He said John Robert was an alcoholic and had been frequently involved in fights.

Rodrigo said John Robert had left a suicide note. A separate suicide note was also found beside John Robert's body. – report from Zandro Ochona, dzMM
