Classes in most public schools in Taguig City will remain suspended on Monday, ABS-CBN News learned Sunday.

Vilma Arce, consultant to the Office of the Taguig City Mayor, told ABS-CBN News Sunday evening that classes are suspended on Monday in most public schools in Taguig City.

Arce said that classes in the elementary and high school levels in all public schools in the city are suspended as well as in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Taguig.

She said city officials will still review the situation if classes would resume on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Arce also said that it would be up to the discretion of officials of private schools if they will hold classes Monday.

Meanwhile the Taguig campuses of Polytechnic University of the Philippines and Technological University of the Philippines will resume its classes Monday. With a report from Israel Malasa, ABS-CBN News
