MIAA says several domestic flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA - Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) on Wednesday announced the that several domestic flights have been cancelled due to bad weather.

A MIAA flight advisory said the following flights were cancelled as of 3:50 p.m.:

From Manila Domestic Terminal:
Seair flights: DG313/DG 314        MNL/TABLAS- Romblon -TABLAS/MNL
Zest Air flights: Z2 406/Z2 407     MNL/PUERTO PRINCESA/MNL

From Terminal  3:

Cebu Pacific flights
5J 529 / 5J 530 MNL/BUSUANGA, BUSUANGA/MNL
5J 323 / 5J 324 MNL/LEGASPI, LEGASPI/MNL
5J 519 / 5J 520 MNL/NAGA, NAGA/MNL

Philippine Air Lines Express
PR 301/ PR 032    MNL/BUSUANGA, BUSUANGA/MNL
PR 069 / PR 070   MNL/ORMOC, ORMOC/MNL

Weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Wednesday said the low pressure area (LPA) spotted near Eastern Samar earlier Wednesday morning was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 230 kilometers north of Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan, as of 2 p.m.,

PAGASA earlier said the weather disturbance would bring rains over Visayas for the next three days and may trigger flashfloods and landslides.

The weather bureau warned the LPA will bring widespread rains over Visayas. The weather system also affects the southern provinces of Luzon and Mindanao with cloudy skies and scattered rainshowers, the weather bureau had added.
