Traffic enforcer dies in road crash

A traffic enforcer died after being thrown off his motorcycle and run over by a trailer truck along a highway in Bacoor town in Cavite province, Wednesday night.
Police investigators said Reynaldo Fabiolas, a traffic enforcer in Bacoor town, tried to overtake a trailer truck along Tirona Highway, but crashed into an approaching motorcycle with two occupants.
Fabiolas was thrown off his bike and went under the trailer truck being driven by Cholin Quezon. The victim was run over and dragged by the truck, investigators said.
The occupants of the other motorcycle, Ricardo Peñaranda and Macribian Daguna, were hurt in the mishap.
Police said charges of reckless imprudence resulting in homicide will be filed against the truck's driver.
