MANILA - A gym instructor was arrested in Santa Cruz, Manila Wednesday morning after fondling himself in public and exposing his penis.

Barangay Chairman Fidel Bernardo said he and several tanods arrested suspect Nomar Gonzales after seeing him exposing himself and masturbating in front of a drugstore near the Department of Health Office on Rizal Avenue around 2 a.m.

April Aquino, one of the drugstore's salesladies, said they noticed Gonzales staring at them while fondling himself. Despite repeated warnings, they said Gonzales even came nearer and exposed his penis.

"He kept fondling himself and sticking his tongue out...Nabastos ako," she said.

Gonzales, meanwhile, denied that he was exposing himself and said he was merely urinating in front of the drugstore. He admitted, however, that he was drunk during the incident.

Bernardo, meanwhile, said Gonzales should be locked up. "They shouldn't let him out. Maybe next time, he might rape someone," he said.
