Yellow rainfall alert over Metro Manila issued

MANILA, Philippines – A yellow rainfall advisory was issued by weather bureau PAGASA over Metro Manila Thursday afternoon.
In the advisory issued at 4:20 p.m., PAGASA said moderate to heavy rains was observed for the past 3 hours.
The rains will “most likely to continue for the next 3 hours,” said PAGASA.
The weather bureau also warned of possible flooding in low-lying areas.
Storm signal number 1 was raised in Metro Manila due to tropical storm “Ofel”, which was last seen crossing over the southern part of Mindoro.
