Commonwealth market collector shot dead
MANILA – A stall fee collector in Quezon City's Commonwealth Market was shot dead in broad daylight on Friday.
The victim, identified as Charie Tortoles, was shot dead inside the market at around 8 a.m.
The two motorcycle-riding suspects took off with Tortoles' handheld radio and bag which contains cash collected from the market occupants.
Police have yet to determine whether robbery was the only motive behind the killing. – report from Johnson Manabat, dzMM
