MANILA, Philippines -- Thirteen colorum vehicles were apprehended by the Southern Police District (SPD) on Thursday, Director Benito Estipona said.
SPD intercepted five colorum vehicles in Parañaque and four in Taguig while two colorum vehicles were caught both in Pasay and Makati.
A month into its anti-colorum operations, the SPD has already apprehended a total of 234 vehicles.
The vehicles are presently held at the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) and Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) impounding areas.
At least 50 people were also arrested by police authorities for violating an ordinance prohibiting drinking alcoholic drinks on streets.
SPD has already nabbed a total of 692 violators in over a month.
Police also caught 96 minors in Pasay, Parañaque, Makati, Las Piñas, Muntinlupa and Taguig for violating an ordinance implementing curfew on minors.
