Starstruck,  a curious driver abruptly stopped his cab after noticing a group of people filming a movie on Quezon Avenue underpass in Quezon City early Wednesday, causing a minor road accident.

Taxi driver Lauro Castillo said he stopped hoping to see who were the stars filming at the underpass. He said he never thought his curiosity would cause an accident.

"Huminto talaga ako. Nagulat ako, bigla eh (I really stopped. I was surprised, it was so sudden)," Castillo told traffic policemen, referring to the motorcycle driven by Brian Natividad.

Natividad's motorcycle crashed into the park taxi of Castillo. The victim's body suffered contusions and bruises after being thrown out of his motorcycle.

Meanwhile, the people who were filming at the underpass had to pack up because of the accident.

Police Officer 2 Jover Manuzon said Castillo will be charged with reckless imprudence resulting to serious physical injury for being too curious.

Manuzon said Castillo clearly broke a traffic law. He said nobody, unless there is an emergency, should stop at the underpass. With a report from Doland Castro, ABS-CBN News
